Why haven't I received my confirmation email?

An email is sent to the email address you gave during registration.  These emails are sent immediately, but sometimes are delayed for various reasons before arriving in your inbox.  If you haven't received an email from us within 1 hour, please contact us at .  Also, please check your spam folder, as sometimes emails get diverted there by mistake.

 

 

Will my name appear to other users?

Only if you want it to.  You can edit your profile whenever you like using the edit my profile link at the top of the page whenever you are logged in.  There you can choose between being 'public' or 'anonymous'

 

 

Why can't I log my minutes?

You can only log activity minutes you've done for today or any day in the past 14 days.  You can also only log durations between 5 and 480 minutes, and you need to make sure you specify how intense your activity was - low, moderate or high.

 

 

Can I correct my logging errors?

Yes, but only for the past 14 days.  On your log your activity page you'll see a pencil icon  next to each activity you've logged.  Click on the pencil and you can edit the data for this entry.

 

 

Can I see activity I've logged from past months?

Yes.  If you go to your results page you'll see a link above your results to view your monthly results.  This will show the current months activities.  By using the green arrows you can view the results for other months too.

 

 

Why is the list of activities limited?

We offer a range of 50 or so activities for you to choose from.  This is so that we can gather meaningful data and can offer useful information and statistics as the programme continues.  We'd therefore ask that you choose the closest activity from the list provided.  However, if you believe there is a popular activity missing from the list, please contact us and we'll see what we can do.

 

 

Can I use Zing on my mobile or tablet?

Yes, the site should function on most mobile or tablet devices.  Obviously your screen size will alter your browsing experience and in some circumstances may prevent some functionality from working correctly.

 

 

Does my browser support Zing?

Zing should function normally in most modern browsers including Internet Explorer (version 7 or above), Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
