Why do we need ‘Ageing Well’?
By encouraging older people to have a healthy lifestyle, Ageing Well aims to improve the quality of these extra years, ensuring that “adding years to life” also means adding life to years”!
The sessions are good for improving balance, flexibility, co-ordination and strength. Just turn up, pay as you go and meet like-minded people for some fun while you exercise.
For further information or if there are any other sessions which you think may be suitable for the over 50’s, please get in touch with Dianne Ramsay on 01823 345626
Flexercise was originally designed to benefit older people who live in nursing homes, residential homes or sheltered housing as well as those older people that attend day care centres. However, it now has a wider range of benefits including helping people with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and rehabilitation after a stroke.
